Those wealthy executives have taken their opportunity and are much wealthier thanks to the big fix from Big Brother’s bailout of AIG. I guess the taxpayers know where the buck stops and there seems to be little sign that any of it is going to trickle down to folks who are left holding the bag. An empty bag it seems. But what’s a poor man to do when he faces the prospect of losing his job, his home, his car, his family, his faith in himself and in the American Dream. Those wealthy executives get a bonus in their pay envelope while the poor man gets a pink slip.

Hopefully the taxpayers will get some of their money back but don’t hold your breath. Yes it’s outrageous but what you gonna do? You can vent your anger, cry in your beer if you can still afford to buy beer, beat your head against the brick wall and maybe you will feel a little better. Then again, maybe not.  But what you gonna do?

Eventually things will get better but the big question is when? Will it be soon enough to save your job, your retirement, your home? Maybe if our elected representatives could agree on what to do to really fix the economy perhaps something will get done sooner rather than later. What’s the chance of that happening. Probably slim to none. So what you gonna do?

Perhaps you are only a semi wealthy executive and are not getting a million dollar bonus in your pay envelope and maybe you haven’t seen that pink slip yet but you are aware enough to see the handwriting on the wall. What you gonna do? You can hope and pray and I suggest you do just that but wouldn’t it be good to have something to fall back on: something besides your shrinking 401K and the equity in your home, something that you can do in addition to sending out your resume and contacting the headhunters?

Well, DAM-IT, there is something you can do. How about a home based business. There may be many things you can do in a home based business but, after all, you are a semi wealthy executive and want to be sure of economic success. You know that the Internet offers worldwide marketing options.

Likely as not you have been giving it some consideration but something has been holding you back. Maybe it’s not that you have your head in the sand but perhaps it’s a question of trust.
